This linoprint (and Summer Dance) was inspired by some pollarded willows on the Railway Land at Lewes. The sinuous stems - that re-grow from the cut or "pollarded" trunk - reminded me of dancers' limbs, so I tried to capture that sense of rhythmic movement.
